Budgetel Inn & Suites is so close to Niagara Falls. Its convenient
1. Service is Poor 2. Room is not clean enough 3. Very Old Bed . Mattress, Furniture as well as TV. NO Cable service it became so boring for us to kill the time 4 Broken Air Conditioner and Broken door nobs , We were lil scared at night because of door nobs 5. King size bed in a small room . Hard to move Over all bad experience
It's not Budgetel Inn & Suites as described but a cheap, family-owned motel named Sands Hotel. The motel is poorly built and poorly ventilated. The room awfully smells , especially the bathroom. I booked for 2-night stay and checked in late but the first thing I noticed was dust on the table lamp. When I pulled the comforter up, there was no bed skirt and it seemed they didn't vacuum underneath the bed. In the morning I saw mildew on the ceiling in the shower stall. I could have checked out immediately but had to stay for a reason. I stayed up that night as I didn't feel comfortable and was afraid of bed bugs. A customer complained that his daughters were bitten by bed bugs (I could see little bumps on the girls' arms) and asked for a refund. The motel's owner asked if the customer could show him where the bed bugs were !!!???. There were exchanges of words between the hotel clerk and the customer, which led to a big altercation. I checked out and was told the motel was not going to refund my money for the 2nd night stay. Even though I was going to loose my money, I couldn't stand for one more night. The next morning I came back to the motel's office, which was still close at 9:00 am. It was a very bad experience as I had lost not only my money but also my sleep. I just want to know whether the motel's owner has the rights not to refund my money despite the fact that his/her business has provided unacceptable accommodation. I would hope that Booked.net would publish my comments so travellers wouldn't have to go through what I've been through. Thank you.
The men and his son that worked there were so nice..I could see me staying there just because of then..The breakfast was just enough to get started ..Coffee muffin, toast and cereal.
The room was not very clean..The bed sat sideways, and the headboard was not attach to the bed .The room went down hill when you walk acrossed the room.We wanted a pool.but the pool was not clean.
The staff was nice and informative, although I will never stay there again.
It was dirty. The shower was dirty. The second day we did not receive washclothes and the towels we got were stained and dirty. It made me feel disgusting. The walls were gross; cobwebs on the walls in the bathroom. Also, it had a smell to it. The shuttle service, while free, was ridiculous as it took them forever to even drive us to the falls. It is definitely too far to walk to the falls and we did not want to drive as we had planned on drinking. We ended up taking a cab back so it didn't take us forever to get back to the hotel. Definitely better off spending the extra money you'd pay for transportation and getting a hotel by the falls...a nice hotel.
Nothing everything was dirty and shit smell all over. That was the big mistake I did in my live never. Again
No coments. That place they should demolish and build a new one sucks
Very bad coordination and not at all courteous
Other than location, the features of this place were disgusting and disappointing. Dirty and smelly rooms (they offer non-smoking rooms that turn out to smell like someone has been smoking there for days). When we got back after our hike day, we found bird turds all over the room... They offer breakfast in the website, but this is just for saturdays and sundays. And the breakfast can´t be worst. On the day we left, there was nobody at the helpdesk for 3 hours (7:00-10:00 am). There wasn´t even a sign or notice giving information about how to contact the motel staff.
The only thin good was location.
The room ws not very clean, there looked like something splattered on the wall by the bed, cob webs in doorway of bathroom, hair in the shower and stuck on the wall in the bathroom, the airconditioner didn't work well at all!
Staff were very welcoming and helpful.. Free wi-fi,Close to shopping,Free breakfast was adequate.
Motel is older and needs some renovation but if you are going to the US to save money you do not want to spend an enormous amount on a motel,
not much. the pool is very small. several small thing broken in the room there was no microwave as advertised. the a/c unit was to week to effectively cool the room. several other placed that were booked for around the same price seemed to have more amenities. no coffemaker or iron in the rooms. only one light in the room would defenitley stay at another hotel next time.
ass above. also no public ice machine. had to go to desk which closed at 12 am locked and ring bell to get ice. only gave a small amount unless requesting to get more. filled 24oz bucked with 10 cubes. is ther an ice shortage in niagara?
Dirty bed/bathroom/furniture. Irresponsible staff Nonsense price Broken doorlock
Fairly shabby but not unclean. Had to go to front desk to get ice and they only gave a few cubes. Repeated calls to ask for directions got hung up.
Cleanliness of our room, inside and out. Decided not to comeback to that kind of motel. But eventhough it is cheap, atleast I should expect that it is very clean and germ-free place and I don't see that in our room. Anyways, maybe that's what I paid for. The place is safe and near to the outlet mall, the falls is 25mins away bus ride. Overall the management should work harder to improve there business.
It isnt a hotel. Its a motel. The worst place I stayed In USA. I was the worst place in USA. There is a lot of noise in the room (leaking air conditioning). air conditioning and very noisy. care and bad. not recommend to anyone.
noise cleaning and care
Good for nothing.
Spiders in room, rude owner, no staff.
